Turkey Club Sandwich



TURKEY CLUB SANDWICH
BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse Copycat Recipe

4-6 ounces oven roasted turkey breast
2 slices sourdough bread
2 slices tomato
2-3 slices cooked smoked bacon
1/3 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
3-4 slices avocado
1-2 tablespoons Dijonnaise (Dijon Mayonnaise)

Rub cut side of garlic clove over both pieces of bread on the side of bread you will be grilling. Spread butter over both pieces of bread on the side you rubbed the garlic over. Lightly press a very small amount Parmesan cheese into the butter.

Place bread slices butter side down on a griddle or skillet that has been preheated to medium-high heat. Grill sandwich until golden brown about 2-3 minutes.

To assemble sandwich: On the un-buttered side of one piece of the grilled bread spread spread with 1/2-1 tablespoon Dijonnaise. Place Oven Roasted turkey breast slices on dressed bread slice. Add cooked bacon on top of turkey slices. Put tomato slices on bacon. Place about 1/3 cup shredded iceberg lettuce on on tomato slices. Add avocado slices. Spread second slice of grilled bread (on the un-buttered side) with 1/2-1 tablespoon dijonnaise and place on top of sandwich.
